SESSIONS AND Courses

spots available
Ranch Kráľova Lehota (Slovakia) 19. 7. – 26. 7. 2026 // capacity: 64 students
Session “B” is the first international Discover session of the summer. A diverse and motivated team of tutors and organizers will bring you a broad range of courses ranging from the sciences to creative courses. The rest of the programme will focus on personal growth, holistic development, navigating the unique challenges of today, and becoming more engaged in one’s community. Outside of classes, games, and sports, our workshop topics will range anywhere from talking about democracy to dance classes, and there will also be opportunities for you to hold a workshop on something you’re passionate about.
For the first time, we will be situated in the stunning nature of the Low Tatras, in Ranč Kráľova Lehota. Accommodation will be in multi-bedded huts that are close to each other, and near the common areas. In addition to a mini zoo, there are volleyball and basketball courts on site. The surrounding nature allows for beautiful hikes.
Coordinators: Meri Suonenlahti, Sophia Duttenhöfer and Jan Apolín
HOW TO GET THERE?
For interested participants, we will arrange a shared bus from Liptovský Mikuláš. There are direct trains from Bratislava to Liptovský Mikuláš.

spots available
Sv. Jan pod Skalou (Czechia) 9. 8. – 16. 8. 2026 // capacity: 80 students
The International Session E will be the last one of 2026. Save the best till last, right? We’re sending out a global invitation for you to join us for a week of summer in an exceptional corner of Czechia. We hope that our session can cater to everyone, so you can choose from a bunch of different courses like social science, art, medicine and tech. And have a go at something new, you would never normally consider – like woodworking! On top of this, each day there will be a rich programme of theatre, games, and stuff you (or us) would never expect. Whilst also giving you some free time to chill out, as it’s still a summer camp!
Each day you’ll have time to learn, reflect, do whatever, meditate, enjoy classic Czech cuisine and get to know whoever is around. We will stay in a (former) monastery near Prague, which has hills for running, rivers for swimming and grass for sitting. We would love to have you there!
Coordinátors: Fred Lowther-Harris and Ondřej Moučka
HOW TO GET THERE?
We provide a free shuttle from Prague – Zličín. If you are flying via Václav Havel Airport in Prague, you can reach Zličín by metro.

spots available
The Cerovo Farm (Slovakia) 12. 7. – 19. 7. 2026 // capacity: 45 students
Session A is a smaller, relaxed Czech–Slovak session without a specific thematic focus, taking place once again this year at Farma Cerovo, surrounded by sheep and the beautiful nature of the Cerová Highlands in southern Slovakia. A full Discover programme awaits you – courses, games, workshops, trips, volleyball, discussions, and many other activities in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Shared transportation directly to the site will be arranged for those interested. We are very much looking forward to seeing you!
Accommodation is provided in rooms for 2 to 4 people directly at Farma Cerovo. The site also includes an outdoor swimming pool, a volleyball court, a small football pitch, and tennis courts.
Coordinators: Jakub Šámal and Antonín Šámal.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SESSION IS TAUGHT FULLY IN CZECH/SLOVAK
HOW TO GET THERE?
We provide a free shuttle from Lučenec. You can get to Lučenec by a direct connection from Prague, Brno, Bratislava, or Košice.

spots available
PT Javorina (Slovakia) 26. 7. – 2. 8. 2026 // capacity: 55 students
Session C is a Czech–Slovak session built around the idea of continuity. By this, we mean a stronger connection not only between individual parts of the programme, but especially between your Summer Academy experience and your life beyond it. This is why a large part of the courses focuses on topics and skills you will genuinely use after returning home. Whether you want to learn how to dance salsa, explore the unexpected possibilities of artificial intelligence, or dive into topics of human health and psychology, Session C will give you the space to do so. You can also look forward to the tried-and-tested Discover programme full of workshops, games, and a trip.
Session C takes place in Slovakia at the PT Javorina site near Myjava, in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the White Carpathians. In addition to cabins, the area includes a large common hall with a kitchen and other facilities. Nearby, you will find a reservoir, hiking trails, cycling routes, a beach volleyball court, and grass football pitches.
Coordinators: Sylvie Majorová and Mojmír Mykiska

spots available
Sv. Jan pod Skalou (CZ) 2. 8. – 9. 8. 2026 // capacity: 80 students
Session D, a Czech–Slovak session, will take place in the picturesque village of Sv. Jan pod Skalou, in the premises of a former Benedictine monastery just a stone’s throw from Prague. The selection of courses is broad, covering technical, practical, and humanities fields. You will find everything from philosophy and climate change to AI and arts management. As with every Discover session, you can also look forward to workshops, games, discussions, trips, poetry, and relaxing in the grass. Inspiring external guest speakers will also be joining us. Overall, this will be a relaxed and welcoming session where everyone is invited and where you will have the opportunity to bring out the best in yourself.
We will be staying in a beautiful former Benedictine monastery that now serves as a teacher training college. Even in summer, the buildings remain pleasantly cool, and thanks to the compact layout of the site, everything is close at hand – from your room to classrooms and the dining hall. Just a few steps from the main building is a spacious garden where you can relax, play sports, or try slacklining. Towering above the area is Svatojánská Skála, offering a stunning view of the surroundings.
Coordinators: Aneta Bernardová, Matěj Krátký and Michal Ostrý
