Amáta Hlédiková

Amáta was born and raised in Prague, but traveling and living abroad have always been a natural part of her life. She grew up bilingual, with a Czech mother and a Hungarian father, and later moved to Vienna for high school, where she learned German. After graduating, she moved to the Netherlands to pursue her long-time dream of becoming a clinical psychologist. She is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and working at an international mental health clinic in the Netherlands. Outside of her studies she also loves cooking (especially learning about Asian cuisine), practicing yoga, painting, and spending time with her friends. Amáta further enjoys attending and helping organize events that raise awareness and support for the LGBTQ+ community. She’s got quite a few volunteering experiences, with her favorite being an art studio focused on creating art together with people with mental disabilities.
