Sophia Duttenhöfer
Sophia grew up in a small village in the German countryside, but she was always eager to see what else the world had to offer. This curiosity took her from a short exchange in Chile and a year in the USA to finishing high school in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After meeting so many interesting people along the way, her path eventually led her to Vienna for her BSc in Architecture, which also included an Erasmus semester in Krakow this past spring.
Outside of academia, Sophia volunteers for Club Alpbach Germany, solves crosswords, or hunts for nice stationery. She has a mild obsession with her Spotify Daylists and loves taking walks through various areas of Vienna to look at the buildings. If the sun is shining, she is most likely at the Danube with a book, music, and her friends. She is always down for a dance party or any excuse to share her latest music finds, but she’s just as happy to simply hang out and join you for a chat. And if you ever want to talk about countries, flags, or world capitals, she’s got you covered: because for some reason, she preferred memorizing them all instead of studying for her exams (a fun way to procrastinate).
