Have you ever been captivated by the extraordinary array of creatures that have lived and still live on our planet, each uniquely adapted to survive in diverse environments? If these questions spark your curiosity, then the zoology course is perfect for you.
In this course we will delve into the fascinating world of animals, exploring their inner life, interspecies relationships, and intriguing facts. Together we will dive into following topics:
Taxonomy – we will learn the framework of animal classification, revealing the surprising connections between species and the concepts of divergent and convergent evolution.
Animal Intelligence and Emotions – we will explore the remarkable cognitive abilities of various species, the unexpected smarts of insects, and we will uncover the rich emotional lives of animals.
Animal Behaviour and Social Interaction – we will analyse the intricate behaviours within species, the dynamics of interspecies interactions, and the amazing phenomenon of cohabitation and symbiosis.

Kristýna Bezáková

Kristina is a cheerful and curious individual with a relentless enthusiasm for learning and personal growth. Interested in languages, yoga, and painting, she embraces every opportunity to explore and expand her horizons outside of work. A graduate of Masaryk University, where she earned her degree in Finance, Kristina spent much of her academic journey volunteering in a student organization AIESEC. Through AIESEC, she learned various skills, collaborated with diverse teams, and went on an internship to Romania, where she taught at a summer camp. Her commitment culminated in a year-long internship in the national leadership team of AIESEC Panama. An outdoor enthusiast, Kristina finds joy in nature, hiking, and exploring mountains. She also loves summer festivals, enjoy a good beer, and spending time with animals. Currently working in finance, however her true passion lies with the animal kingdom. In her free time, Kristina studies zoology and is eager to share her knowledge with fellow enthusiasts who share her love for learning.
