You don’t need any prior knowledge about the music business – this course is open to anyone curious about what happens behind the curtain. Whether you dream of working in the music business, or you’re just a passionate listener, this course will change how you think about the music you love!

Tanya Stadnyk

Tanya serves as Director of Operations at Music Export Ukraine (MEU), co-managing a non-profit organisation that helps Ukrainian artists build international presence. Since 2020, she developed and launched several capacity-building and international cooperation projects, including the Eastern European Music Academy (EEMA), a 12-week music business course for young professionals from Eastern and Central Europe, and the Baltic states. Since 2020, MEU has run 5 iterations of EEMA, trained 280 music professionals from 15 countries, released 1 collaborative EP (extended play), engaged 9 international partners and 15 world-class experts, organised 4 delegations of music professionals to international music business events in Romania, Slovenia, Greece, and Germany. In addition to that, Tanya regularly organises delegations of music professionals to showcase festivals, such as ESNS, Reeperbahn festival and conference, c/o pop, Waves Vienna, and Tallin Music Week. Previously, Tanya served as Head of Non-Profit Development at 42 Prague, a non-profit coding institute, establishing operational processes and donor relations, and as Secretary-General at Youth and Environment Europe, a network of environmental youth organisations, where she expanded the organisation’s capacity and secured funding.
